Ephesians: Our Privilege in Christ
Because of our identity in Christ, we have been given great privileges.
Being a member of God’s family has the greatest privileges you could ever dream of!
Let’s continue through the book of Ephesians, taking time to marvel at the great privileges we have because of the amazing grace of God.
The first privilege we have is…
We have the privilege of Divine prayer. (Ephesians 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
We have the privilege of Divine perception. (Ephesians 1:17-18a)
We have the privilege of Divine providence. (Ephesians 1:18b)
We have the privilege of Divine possession. (Ephesians 1:18c)
We have the privilege of Divine power. (Ephesians 1:19-23; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Hebrews 1:3; Philippians 2:9-11)
The question we have before us is this—will we live in the power of our privileged life or not?
The greatest power shortage today is not in our generators or our gas tanks. It is in our personal lives. Will Paul’s prayer be answered in your life? Will you starting today, begin to know by experience God—God’s calling—God’s riches—and God’s power?
Being Christ’s possession brings with it great privileges.
May we learn to enjoy the privileges that come from Christ and walking with Him—our One True King!
